Dr. Wakil introduced non-surgical blepharoplasty to the UK from Italy and is the master trainer of the treatment and the DRSW Clinics protocol - where he employs a variety of devices and instruments in order to tailor treatment to each and every individual based on their goals in a very safe manner.
This is something that has been overlooked by many as the popularity of non-surgical blepharoplasty has significantly increased over recent years.
Unfortunately, DRSW Clinics has seen an increase in the number of repair cases resulting from pracitioners who have not had the necessary training. While this puts patient safety at risk, it may also be difficult to repair.
DRSW Clinics does not use laser or diathermy, which while technically classifies as non-invasive, can still cause damage to the surrounding areas when unwanted heat is applied to them.
By employing a series of devices tailored to the individual, Dr. Wakil is able to tackle challenges due to excessive skin and wrinkles in a safe bespoke manner.
The DRSW non-surgical protocol works by creating a series of minute dots on the skin, which triggers a process called sublimation - the process of turning a solid into a gas, skipping the liquid state - creating an instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres to create a lifting, shrinking and remodelling effect. It is a very simple procedure.
In fact, devices do not touch a patient's skin, as one might expect. Devices are always stay about 1 - 2 mm away from the skin before a spark comes out. This spark causes, what seems like or looks like a small burn, but its not actually a burn as it does not effect any underlying tissue at all.

Non-Surgical Procedure With Surgical Results
As well as being significantly safer than surgery, it is considerably cheaper too and identical results can last up to 10 years.
Blepharoplasty works by using a process called sublimation – the process of turning a solid into gas without becoming liquid – which causes the fibres of the skin to shrink, contract and tighten. This tightening of the fibres in turn tightens the surface area of the skin, creating an improvement in loose or sagging skin.
Some patients may not be suitable for non-surgical blepharoplasty, especially when treating very heavy bags under the eyes.
